Roger Adkin has been a Canadian Federal Intelligence Officer for more than 15 years. He spent several years seconded to the RCMP for international liaison for drug, weapon, tobacco and human smuggling. Adkin has worked in Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto and Winnipeg while employed with Canada Customs. Currently, he investigates environmental crimes on behalf of Environment Canada. Adkin has written the mystery novels Sins in the Name of the Father and Bull under the pen name Jackson Carter (both novels are available at Edmonton's Audrey's Books). In his spare time Adkin is an avid painter, especially of murals, competes in sand sculpture competitions, and takes vocal performance lessons.
